What's new
v3.4.43.4.4
- Security: plugin updates now require a valid Ed25519 release signature verified against a key embedded in the plugin, in addition to HTTPS, same-host/port, and a mandatory sha256 checksum. A release that is missing or fails any of these checks is refused before install, closing the door on a compromised or impersonated update endpoint.
3.4.3
- Fix: Save buttons showed a literal "\xe2\x80\xa6" escape sequence instead of "Savingβ¦" while saving.
3.4.2
- Feature: each attribute card on the Attributes tab now has its own Save button, shown only when that card has unsaved changes (terms added/removed, variation flag toggled, or freshly attached). The misplaced tab-level Save row is removed.
- Security: plugin updates are verified before install β the download must come over HTTPS from the same host (and port) as the update endpoint, and the package's sha256 checksum is verified when the endpoint publishes one.
- Fix: the Convert to Variable dialog now pre-selects only the product's already-attached attribute terms, leaves "Generate variations now" off by default, shows a live count of variations to be created, and asks for confirmation above 50.
- Fix: variations generated during Simple β Variable conversion inherit the source product's regular/sale price, so converted products stay purchasable before pricing tiers are configured.
- Fix: a failed Simple β Variable conversion now also rolls back attribute term assignments, leaving no hidden state changes behind.
